Professional Career:
Amanda Clor began her educational career as a high school teacher specializing in Government, Economics, and Psychology in Westland, Michigan. Recognizing her passion for fostering leadership, she transitioned into administration as an assistant principal within the Fitzgerald Public Schools district in Warren, Michigan. Prior to her current role in Chelsea, she accumulated 13 years of experience in various administrative positions, including high school assistant principal, middle school principal, and building principal.
Education:
Mrs. Clor earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Social Studies and Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan (2001-2005). She subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan (2005-2007).
Personal Interests:
Mrs. Clor enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, engaging in outdoor activities such as camping and playing or watching sports. In her leisure time, she also enjoys solving jigsaw puzzles and reading.
