Welcome to the Chelsea High School Counseling Department
Our mission is to ensure that all students are self-sufficient, introspective and knowledgeable of their choices
The professional school counselors at Chelsea High School provide a comprehensive school counseling program based on the ASCA National Model that prepares and inspires all students to become responsible, effective, and meaningfully engaged citizens in a global community.
We collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and the CHS administration to address the academic, social/emotional and college/career preparatory needs of our student body.
We empower and encourage all students to open their minds, explore possibilities, and work towards achieving their goals.
We advocate for equity, access, and success for every student.
We encourage student self-advocacy and accountability and we promote the development of citizenship that embraces excellence of character.
Please refer to the Course Offering booklet for in-depth description of counseling services.
